Sporty Chic finds!

So on Sunday I decided to pop into the centre and check out what was new on the racks of all your favourite stores, whilst keeping the sporty chic theme in mind. I was super excited to see one of my all time favourite purchases from Diva is available at Top Ryde City!!! The little black jewellery dress.
Basically it's a mock up black dress that acts as a jewellery and accessory hanger. On one side it has clear pockets of all shapes and sizes for your rings, cuffs, earrings, bracelets, watches, whatever really! The other side has velcro hooks that allow you to neatly arrange your necklaces, bows, headbands and other nick nacks. If you're anything like me, you're always in a rush and always looking for that piece of jewellery that got away. For these instances having a little black jewellery organiser hanging in your wardrobe is a lifesaver. I thought I would share this with you as it's a great Christmas gift option. I think most of us could use a lil help organising our lives. All ages will benefit from the Little Black Jewellery Dress and it's a great fun way to teach younger girls how to look after their accessories.

Below are some more pieces I've found, that are all within the $50 price range. These are some great wardrobe updates that fit the sporty chic look.

Diva- Watches and chains. For an inexpensive accessory update, Diva and Colette by Colette Hayman are always my go to stores in the centre. Diva offers a better range for the sporty chic trend, offering great 80's inspired watch faces in gold, silver, bronze and even pastels for a colour update.

Diva also has a great range of chains, both classic large link plain chains and novelty chains like the limited edition Flamingo one below. So many women feel chains like these are best worn in your 20's, I beg to differ, a classic gold chain can look great at any age. They are classic and never go out of style.

Kookai -  Talk about a statement necklace, Kookai have brought out this amazing neon necklace in store this week and it's a winner. I know huge statement pieces like this can look scary and most women can find it challenging to pull it off. My advice with a a piece like this is KEEP IT SIMPLE! Wear it with a simple slim fit black, white or block coloured dress and lose all other accessories. Jewellery like this is a statement on its own and will reinvent that little black dress you have worn to death, making it look brand new again.

Kookai are known for bringing out a small collection of winning shoes each season. This season it's all about these strappy platforms, which are a great height and will work back with the seasons colour palette. Personally I am loving the deep blue.

Forever New have a great colourful collection in store with lots of bright pieces and lots of neon.
I am loving their scarf collection. Scarfs are a great option for women looking to update that simple jeans and tshirt combination by adding a splash of colour.
TIP- Scarves are a great 'bad hair day' solution! Try tying one around the crown of your head and letting it flow down for a boho chic look that will hide unwashed hair.

Forever New have a great neon A-line skirt. I am such a big fan of anything A-line as it cinches you in at the waist and covers your hips and upper thighs, making your legs appear longer. This look is in the window at Forever New and is right on trend with our sporty chic look.
